Hanaholmen is an established actor on the Nordic film scene. The Nordic film of the month is a well-established concept that has attracted thousands of cinema devotees through the years.
Hanaholmen can offer the framework and infrastructure to support the launch of Nordic film premieres through visits by directors, talks with actors, and media visibility. We welcome cooperation with other actors.
The activities continue as before with one to two screenings per month and a regularly recurring collaboration with Espoo Ciné film festival.
Film screenings are naturally integrated into business activities, as the new, cosy café & wine bar on the lower floor of the building serves cinema goers both before and after the screening. Screenings are free of charge but require advance registration.
The Nordic film of the month is also shown elsewhere in Finland in cooperation with the Walhalla association and film festivals in the regions.
