Welcome! This is an accessibility notice for the Hanaholmen cultural centre for Sweden and Finland

This accessibility notice applies both to the possibility of physically moving around the building, and to the online accessibility of the Hanaholmen website.

Accessibility status of the Hanaholmen building

The rooms and spaces at Hanaholmen are well adapted for any disabilities.

  • An accessible parking space
  • Ramp to the main entrance
  • Spacious entrance with doors that open automatically.
  • Most seats in the foyer at the main entrance
  • All the meeting rooms are easily accessible, including the main auditorium, using the entrance from the second floor
  • The lifts in the house allow unrestricted movement from floor to floor
  • Wide aisles make it easy to move around the house
  • The restaurant is sizeable and spacious, with generous aisles and tables that can be moved to increase space
  • Toilets for disabled people on the first floor of all public areas at Hanaholmen
  • Hearing induction loop in the auditorium
  • Four accessible hotel rooms, each with two separate motorised beds. In one of the rooms, the beds are lower than normal
  • The light switches in the hotel rooms can be reached from a wheelchair. Customised bathrooms equipped with a toilet alarm
  • A shower chair can be ordered for the room
  • Guides/guide dogs are welcome at Hanaholmen!

Accessibility status of the online services

The service www.hanaholmen.fi was established/updated on 20 Nov. 2020. The service is subject to the Act on the Provision of Digital Services and its requirement that public websites must be accessible.

The accessibility of the website has been reviewed by an external consultancy: Partially meets the accessibility requirements.
