Hanaholmen Art Opening

Hanaholmen, Espoo

|
11.9.2017 12:00 - 15:30

The fantastically renewed Hanaholmen opens its doors to art!

Hanaholmen is a unique combination of diverse hotel services, fantastic touches of archipelago and marine climate, and design and art by famous Nordic artists. Welcome to celebrate the first visible results of our art programme with us and to become acquainted with some visions of the art of public spaces. Two new artworks will be inaugurated at the event: a mural painted by Mirza Cizmic, a student from the art school Kuvataideakatemia decorates the fence on the right-hand side of the main entrance of Hanaholmen, and indoors there is an art corridor, called Korridoren, by Susanne Gottberg and Markus Kåhre. Our chef Lukas Hemnell loves Nordic flavours and will make a three-course lunch of this season’s ingredients for the event. The event will be spiced up by different speakers, such as Mårten Castenfors, the head of Stockholm konst, who tells us about his visions for public art. Come to Hanaholmen and experience art in all its glory – both in an urban space and at a design hotel!
