The role of culture in a crisis
Keynote speech by Hanaholmen´s CEO Gunvor Kronman at the Folk & Kultur-convention in Eskilstuna
Ms. Gunvor Kronman has extensive experience of leadership and international assignments. She is currently the CEO of Hanaholmen –the Swedish-Finnish Cultural Centre, and during the past 25 years has held central positions nationally and internationally across all sectors; private, public and third sector alike.
Gunvor is also Global Chair of Plan International, Chair of Konstsamfundet, Amos Rex Contemporary Art Museum and Augusta Victoria Cancer Hospital in Jerusalem. She is also serving as member of the Board of Rand Europe, Åbo Akademi University and Mälardalen University in Sweden.
Gunvor has received several honorary medals for promoting the relations between the Nordic countries and for carrying out humanitarian work. She regularly lectures as Senior Visiting Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence. Gunvor shares her homes between Finland and Palestine.
