Changing the culture of sport – Leadership, diversity and gender in sport
Hanaholmen, Finlands Svenska Idrott and National Council of Women of Finland together with the National Broadcasting Company Yle Sport welcome you to a seminar about leadership, diversity and gender in sport.
The seminar is held September 19th from 10 a.m. (breakfast 9 a.m. for those participating on location) to 3 p.m. at Hanaholmen in Espoo and live streaming. The programme is in English.
We have guest speakers such as Swedish football player Lotta Schelin and Joanna Harper, who is a researcher in transgender in sport and adviser to the IOC. As a guest invited by US Embassy in Finland we will get acquainted with Val Ackerman, Commissioner of the BIG EAST Conference, The founding President of the Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA).
