Almedalen Week

One of Hanaholmen's aims is to highlight Finland and bilateral issues in Sweden and so each year it participates in Almedalen Week, a democratic meeting place and arena for social discussions. During the 'political week' in Visby, Hanaholmen organises a number of discussion sessions and events that attract a diverse audience. The discussion theme varies from year to year, but touches on current topics such as defence, culture, education and democracy.
