Arts for Health — Nordic-Baltic seminar on Art in Hospitals - Hanaholmen

We invite healthcare professionals, art and culture specialists and persons working in and with hospital environments in the Baltic and Nordic countries to attend the Arts for Health seminar taking place from 18 to 20 November in Hanaholmen, Espoo, Finland.

Hospitals have become significant places for art displays, while the presence of art plays an important part for health and wellbeing of patients, families and healthcare staff.  The Art Committee at HUS Helsinki University Hospital together with Hanaholmen Cultural Centre and the Swedish-Finnish Cultural Foundation will host the first Nordic-Baltic Seminar on Art in Hospitals, providing insightful presentations by renown researchers, artists and curators.

The goal of the seminar is to share knowledge on art in hospital environments and establish a network for professionals working at the intersection of healthcare and art in Finland, the Nordic and Baltic countries. To support this goal, ample of time is reserved for organizing the network, conversations and Q&As.

Participation is free of charge. The number of participants is restricted to 100 persons at this first edition of the network. Please register by 4 November 2024.
