In a time when the global balance of power is shifting and transatlantic relations are being reshaped, Canada is rising as an important partner for the Nordic region. Shared interests in security, the Arctic, trade, and democratic values provide a strong foundation for deeper cooperation.
On Monday 7 September, at 16.00, we welcome you to Hanaholmen, for a panel discussion on the cooperation between Canada and the Nordic countries. The discussion will explore the growing partnership between Canada and the Nordic countries, and how we can work together to address future geopolitical, economic, and climate-related challenges.
The panel will bring together diplomats from Canada, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, and Finland. The discussion will be moderated by Tina Räihä.
The event will be held in Hanaholmen's cafe, offering a relaxed atmosphere that encourages open dialogue and meaningful conversation. The event is free to attend but requires registration no later than September 4. Drinks and snacks available for purchase at the café and wine bar.
