DEMOCRACY, KNOWLEDGE AND BILDUNG

The traditional idea of public education and learning is threatened, both technically and ideologically . How do we maintain democracy and constructive dialogue if we lack common and credible knowledge? We agree upon the fact that preserving democracy is our common goal and benefits everyone. Or do we?

This event is a part of a two day programme on democracy and bildung in cooperation with Svenska Folkskolans Vänner, the second part being a seminar in Swedish on December 3rd at the G18 venue in Helsinki: ”Bildning och bubblor”.
