Impact Investing – How Can We Build a More Sustainable Society?
The event is a part of our programme series called Dialogues for Our Futures. This series consists of twelve forward-looking dialogues, developed in collaboration with several partners. Our partners have contributed with ideas, and we have together identified key themes that are important for Swedish-Finnish cooperation. The programme series is arranged during Hanaholmen’s anniversary year and celebrates 50 years of meetings and discussions.

EnglishImpact investing is an increasingly intriguing topic for investors and philantrophic organisations. How can impact investments help build a society that is sustainable both socially, environmentally, culturally and economically? How can the Finnish-Swedish co-operation be strengthened in the field of impact investing? This dialogue event aims to discuss the phenomenon impact investing by bringing together experts from Finland and Sweden to exchange their views and thoughts. We also wish to encourage the public to join the discussion. The panelists for the dialogue are Ruth Brännvall, CEO, Impact Invest; Mikko Kosonen, Chair of Board, Alfred Kordelin Foundation, Vesa Sarmia, Director of Partnerships, Deaconess Foundation and Samuel Wendelin, Investment Director, Tesi.
