Against the backdrop of an increasingly complex security environment, comprehensive security and societal resilience have become central to the Nordic and European agenda.

The Hanaholmen Initiative Summit brings together leading experts, policymakers, and practitioners from Finland, Sweden and the Nordic region to strengthen comprehensive security and resilience in an era of increasing uncertainty. This year’s summit will focus on the progress made since 2024, the role of citizens in building societal resilience, and the importance of public-private partnerships.
