Hanaholmen’s celebratory exhibition
Seminars, dinners, lunches, conferences, negotiations, discussions in the spotlight and behind the scenes – encounters in different forms. Hanaholmen is all of this.

The celebratory exhibition examines Hanaholmen’s activities as a meeting place and promoter of cooperation between Finland and Sweden. The exhibition's theme, 'encounters', takes two forms in the exhibition. First, the timeline shows Hanaholmen’s 50-year history in relation to the key events and trends of society.
Secondly, encounters take a functional form in the exhibition: the table laid in the middle of the space invites visitors to take part in the discussion about cooperation between Finland and Sweden, in the past and the future. What has been discussed, what should be discussed more? What kind of meals have been consumed? And what does the future look like for the cooperation between the two countries? Join the conversation!
The exhibition was designed by the architectural firm Kombo in collaboration with Hanaholmen.
