The School of the Future

Attraction – how to increase the attractivity of the teacher profession and the wellbeing in schools? A good level of education is crucial for a functioning society, but also for individual resilience. Education provides the tools needed to handle the challenges we face in a society undergoing change. In recent years, education in Finland and Sweden has been exposed to great external pressure. Political reforms, increased societal divides, changing attitudes of students and parents as well as the constantly evolving digital landscape fundamentally affecting conditions for learning and teaching. What are the needs and competencies for the school and education of the future? What challenges and solutions do we see?
