HanaAcademy

HanaAcademy was established by Hanaholmen and the Swedish-Finnish Cultural Foundation in 2010. The objective of Hanaholmen Academy is to promote bilateral cooperation and knowledge exchange between Sweden and Finland in higher education and research. The primary target group is players in the research and education sector in Sweden and Finland, such as researchers, teachers and administrators. Hanaholmen Academy coordinates and initiates bilateral cooperation in research and higher education, and organises various events, seminars, workshops and courses. Hanaholmen Academy’s activities are led by a project manager and assisted by a steering group.

  2. To increase the quality of education and research in Sweden and Finland through the bilateral exchange of experience in current issues
  3. To promote interaction between the higher education sector and surrounding society
  4. To create meaningful activities for relevant players in Sweden and Finland

HanaAcademy works in close cooperation with a number of different organisations and players. The activities serve as a gateway for Finnish researchers in Sweden and for Swedish researchers in Finland.
